Renowned marriage counsellor, Opanin Kwadwo Kyere, has commented on the issue of modern day men and their and their preference in women when they're considering a partner to tie the knot with.

According to the well known marriage counselor, gone are the days when a woman's beauty was the only thing a man considered if he wanted to get married. Nowadays, a lot more is considered when men look for a potential spouse.
Opanin Kwadwo Kyere stated that men nowadays tend to choose women who are intelligent, and also have a personal drive to improve themselves. This, according to the renowned marriage counselor, is to be sure that the woman could give the husband a helping hand if need be.

"Out of their struggle, they sent you to Wesley Girls High School Cape Coast, you didn’t pass, and all you keep saying is “I’m a woman, a man will marry me”, men today are wiser, they won’t marry for free, regardless of how beautiful you are, if I see that my marrying you will bring me problems, I won’t.” said Opanin Kwadwo Kyere.
The popular marriage counselor went on to urge women to be more ambitious, and to strive for greatness in order to curtail instances where women are totally dependent on men in the household. According to Opanin Kwadwo Kyere, nothing is more frustrating for a man than when he's trying to make the family prosper in life while the rest of the family (Wife, son, daughter) fails to pull its weight.

The renowned marriage counselor also admonished young men who take advantage of women in desperate need of marriage by sleeping with them with no intent to marry them.
“And for the lady if you leave yourself, he will still sleep with you, even in the sex act he knows he won’t marry you, wicked young men, why do you do that?”, he quizzed.
