Top 7 traffic-prone areas in Accra you must avoid driving through this Christmas
Christmas season is almost here again, and as usual Ghana’s capital, Greater Accra will be hit with monstrous vehicular and human traffic.

This is normally because many people will be pouring in to the city for various purposes as the year ends.
One of the major reasons that will exacerbate the traffic situation in Accra is trading activities, mainly buying and selling.
This has always been the history because many ‘shoppers and sellers’ will target the central business district of the city as they aim to stock their various shops in order to cash in for the festive season.

Besides this, various roads leading to the major shopping malls and supermarkets across the city will also not be spared as they will be hit with heavy vehicular traffic.
Though there are some few by-pass roads, users would want to consider avoiding the various highways as it is likely they would also experience some high level of vehicular traffic.
