The ‘Sponsor’ hitmaker with her lovely dark complexion, has released a photo of herself showing her pretty face.

Ebony wore make-up with blue lipstick in this latest photo which she has fittingly captioned, “...proud melanin” on her Instagram page.

The star of the moment started 2018 with a ‘confident pose’ photo as a way to welcome the new year.

She also indicated by that post that she is ready to take the music industry by storm this year.

Ebony was the most-talked about musician after Shatta Wale in 2017.

She was heavily criticized for her choice of attire and grooming which many people found offensive.

MUSIGA President Obour, gospel musician Celestine Donkor, Kwabena Kwabena’s manager Fremar Ashkar, and others were among those who lambasted Ebony over her dressing.

While others including Abeiku Santana, Efya, Afia Schwarzenegger, and Mzbel defended Ebony’s style of dressing.

Nevertheless, the 20-year-old dancehall diva was shown massive support by her fans.

Her releases for 2017 – Sponsor, Date your father, Poison, Hustle and Maame Hw3 - were major hits which are still enjoying massive airplay.

Ebony was adjudged Best Female Musician of the Year at the People Celebrity Awards after beating Obaapa Christy, Efya, Joyce Blessing, Becca, Mz Vee and others in a keenly contested category.

A ‘new comer’ artiste, Ebony, born Pricilla Opoku Agyeman, also beat veterans like Samini, Stonebwoy and MzVee to win the BASS Artiste of the Year 2017 award.

The young singer is currently aiming for the ultimate which is the Vodafone Ghana Music Award Artiste of the Year.
