Former news newscaster TV presenter, Gideon Aryeequaye is reported to be involved in an accident with his driver has been discharged and is out of danger.
According to media reports, the former broadcaster who occupies the position of Director of the Ghana Tourism Development Company, had the accident on Monday morning in the Central Region.
Gideon is reported to have been travelling to a seminar on Tourism organized by the Ministry of Tourism when the car he was in got involved into the accident at Gomoa Assin, near Apam Junction.According to eyewitness account, an articulated truck run into his Toyota, critically is injuring both him and his driver. The two are reported to be have been discharged after receiving treatment for their injuries at the St. Luke Hospital in Apam.
In a facebook post by Gideon Aryeequaye, friend, Israel Laryea, he noted that Gideon is out of danger and has since been discharged with his driver from the hospital. the post further indicated that Gideon is home and out of danger.

Gideon Aryeequaye worked for many years in broadcasting as a newscaster and a TV presenter. He has stints with TV3 and ETV Ghana. After ETV Ghana, Gideon Aryeequayes veered off into politics. He contested for a parliamentary candidate on the ticket of the NDC for the Weija Constituency but lost. He was later appointed to head the Ghana Tourism Development Company. Gideon recently is known to be the presenter for TV3’s beauty pageant, Ghana’s Most Beautiful.
