Ghanaian men reveal the birthday gifts they'll buy for their girlfriends on a GHC10 budget

If you have a partner, his or her birthday is one of the most important days in your relationship.

It is a day you are supposed to shower him or her with love which usually comes with the offering of gifts.

In Ghana, men tend to give the more expensive gifts as they are usually expected to take care of their ladies.

In fact, in some circles, you could lose your girlfriend for not honouring her on her birthday.

But what if you do not have the means to impress her? This is a question lingering probably lingering on the minds of many people.

YEN.com.gh asked our readers to suggest less expensive gifts they can buy for their girlfriends on their birthdays with just GHC10.

You cannot imagine how some of them were creative on a tight budget like Blaq Bwoy who even got us a balance of GHC6.

And Rhapture who though of something more long-lasting

While many of our readers agreed with the above suggestions and mentioned similar items like earrings, beads, and food, the single most mentioned item was ladies underwear.

Interestingly, the men though of it as a very cheap item.

Jeremy says he could get three for less GHC9 and use the remainder for packaging

Reuben puts the price between GHC3 to GHC5

Immanuel thinks that is the only thing GHC10 can buy for his girl
