Mom shares sweet letter penned by son to mythical creature; remains puzzled about response

A South African mother, @FaithJDanielsSA has taken to her social page to convey a lovely message in a letter penned by her son addressed to the Tooth Fairy.

According to the mother's profile, she is mom to Luke and her son seems to have recently parted ways with his tooth.

In a letter posted on Twitter, @FaithJDanielsSA is receiving warm reactions and comments from fellow parents.

Some suggest the tooth fairy will definitely respond to the young man's wise words whilst some say the fairy will reward the boy with some extra cash.

The post captioned 'Does the tooth fairy write back? Asking for myself.' has attracted the attention of followers and has been liked more than 90 times - some reactions can leave you asking questions as well.

“Yes, he/she does. Last month I “accidentally” lost a tooth that was in a plastic cup in the boys' room. My son wrote a letter to the tooth fairy explaining what happened. Tooth fairy responded to the note and with a R20.”

“The tooth fairy brings a letter and a coin when she comes to pick up the tooth. What she does with the tooth and other such questions are left shrouded in mystery.”

“As for ‘Love your work’. May you suggest the wording for the tooth fairy’s reply? ‘Dear Luke, I love your work too. Thanks for taking such good care of your teeth.”

Meanwhile, YEN.com.gh previously had a published story, that the mythical Tooth Fairy is a big part of most of our lives especially when we were growing up.

A lot of parents still keep up the tradition by hiding money after their child has lost a tooth. Generally, children received a silver coin from the Tooth Fairy.

In a recent Tweet, a parent showed off that their child had received R20 from the fairy. @Mzwakhe_Isaac22 is the parent that uploaded the image of the R20 note in his child's school shoe. He went on to caption it: "And the Tooth Fairy delivered."
