- Afia Schwar has described the media, politicians and Ghanaians in general as hypocrites
- According to her, Ghanaians only show love when someone is dead
- Afia Schwar made the statement at the funeral of Ebony Reigns
Controversial on-air-personality, Afia Schwarzenegger has taken a swipe at Ghanaians over their 'hypocrisy' concerning the late Ebony Reigns.
According to her, when Ebony was alive, she was bastardized but in death, she is being hailed because Ghanaians, especially the 'big men', prefer to celebrate and spend money on the dead more than the living.
Speaking in an interview with Adom TV at the funeral of Ebony on Saturday, March 24, Afia Schwar wondered why the singer's funeral would attract such a huge number of politicians and other prominent people when she was lambasted on several occasions while she was alive.
"Was Ebony an ambassador for Ghana or any brand? So why are the politicians and top people doing here?", she asked sarcastically.
Afia did not also spare the media whom she accused of only being interested in bad things happening to people.
Ebony Reigns, while alive, often made news headlines particularly for her style of dressing and her often raunchy stage performances.
But since her death in an accident on February 8, a lot of good things has been said about her.
This is what seems to what irked Afia Schwar who held herself as a god-mother to Ebony.
