The Ghanaian business titan made the news when he, together with his wife, purchased the first copy of Shatta Wale’s ‘The Reign’ album at a whopping GHC150,000 in 2019.
YEN.com.gh reported in 2019 that Sledge and his wife came on stage at Shatta Wale event to offer a whopping GHC150,000, stating that Shatta Wale deserved more.

Recent videos of Dr Sledge's private residence at East Legon has emerged online after he granted some bloggers access to his home.
Dr Sledge was reportedly getting set to pick his friend and Jamaican dancehall deejay, singer and songwriter Andre Jay Sutherland, better known as Popcaan at the Kotoka International Airport.
While it still remains unclear, it has been reported that the Jamaican superstar is in the country to fraternise with his Ghanaian friends and to enjoy ongoing activities marking the Year of Return.
Dr Sledge, Popcaan’s millionaire friend reportedly hosted him at his private residence upon his arrival in East Legon.
Videos of the mood, expensive cars and features at his private mansion have popped up.
Another video was shared online prior to Popcaan's arrival at the Kotoka International Airport.

The 42-year-old rapper was first signed to P. Diddy’s Ciroc Entertainment Company and he also founded his own label Maybach Music Group.
