I was richer under Kufuor's administration - Ibrahim Mahama drops bombshell

Businessman and brother of ex-president John Mahama, Ibrahim Mahama says his source of wealth can be traced to the time when John Agyekum Kufuor was president of Ghana.
Ibrahim Mahama says most of all the money he has been able to make was because of the solid contracts he got during the year 2000 when John Kufuor became the first president under the NPP.

The wealthy businessman was speaking at an entrepreneurial lecture in Accra where he discounted claims of becoming rich during the tenure of his brother and former president of Ghana.
“I became successful much more in Kufuor’s time because I had nobody hanging round my neck. I rather regret when my brother became vice president”. Ibrahim Mahama revealed.
In fact, Ibrahim Mahama revealed that his business is doing very good under Nana Addo's government than it did in his brother - John Mahama's administration.
“Today NPP is in power; I likely won’t get favors but I’m even doing better than I was doing when my brother was president,” He disclosed.

Ibrahim Mahama has a number of companies to his name, making him one of the richest men in Ghana today. But despite the success story, Ibrahim Mahama has also faced some legal challenges against him.
