On June 16, 2015, Bisa Kdei launched the single, Mansa, off his second album titled Breakthrough. The song opened the way for a successful second studio album, which was released on December 18, 2015, under his record label, Black Legendary Music.
Nana Ampadu, Dr Paa Bobo, J.A. Adofo, Daddy Lumba, and Nana Acheampong among others are among his musical inspirations.

Kdei is the first Ghanaian musician and second African musician to be verified on Facebook. He is also the first artiste from Ghana to break into the fame with a movie sound track.
In 2017, he was one of the big winners at the Vodafone Ghana music awards when he scooped awards for Highlife Artiste of the year, highlife Song of the year and most popular song of the year.
