Nana Damoah and Herbert Krapa fight over loyalty to Gabby

Tension has been brewing in the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP) over the Ameri deal, with two government communicators, Nana Damoah and Herbert Krapa being the latest to clash heads.
Spokesperson for the Energy Ministry, Nana Damoah, has accused Herbert Krapa, who is the government spokesperson on Governance and Legal Affairs, of threatening him for allegedly linking the name of Gabby Otchere-Darko to the renegotiation of the Ameri deal.
According to him, he has received multiple threat messages from Herbert Krapa over the controversial Ameri deal.

He further revealed that he has already lodged a complaint with the Police over the threats.
“He sent me a message warning me to be careful, later he sent another message warning me to stop peddling falsehood against Mr Gabby Asare Otchere Darko and that if I don’t stop there’ll be a showdown,” Nana Damoah indicated on his Facebook wall.
“All my interviews are public, I’ve not once in any of my submissions in public discourse mentioned the name of Gabby Asare Otchere Darko, so I’m extremely surprised that this is what is going on,” he added
Meanwhile, Energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko, has been relieved off his duties by President Akufo-Addo after allegedly “misleading” the President to approve the controversial deal.

A statement signed by head of communications at the presidency, Eugene Arhin, said the decision is “in the best interest of the country and his administration.”
