President Mahama Commissions Accra ICT Center

President John Dramani Mahama commissioned the Accra Digital Center, a project that's costed government $8.3 million in a ceremony which took place on Wednesday, November 2nd, that was also attended my numerous officials.

At the ceremony, which was attended by many public officials the president said that with the opening of the facility, he was hoping to create some 10,000 jobs. Among other things, the center will be expected to consolidate data for various government's key ICT facilities.

The President stated that the Center represented the great strides made in the Ghanaian ICT sector, and that, "This is what I mean when I say we are changing lives and transforming Ghana," he went on to say.
