Emiliano Sala's sister Romina has taken to social media to share a heartbreaking photo of his missing elder brother's dog waiting at home since the disappearance of the Cardiff City star.

The name of the dog according to Romina Sala is 'Nana' and it has been staring out into the distance thinking and looking for Emiliano to appear.

While sharing the photo on social media, Romina Sala gave a touching caption to her post with ''Nana is waiting for you too''.

According Daily Mirror, the dog was one of the reasons why the Cardiff City player had returned to France.

Emiliano Sala was also said to be preparing to take his dog to Cardiff before the tragic incident of the plane he boarded occurred.

Meanwhile, the plane that carried Emiliano Sala has been found in which there was a report on Monday, February 4, that a body has been found inside.

But it is not yet known whether the body that was found is that of Emiliano Sala or the pilot that was with him when they embarked on the trip.

Sala's father was also devastated while speaking with reporters on Monday after the news that the plane was found came out.

Earlier, YEN.om.gh had reported how Video clips revealed that a body was sighted in the crashed private jet transporting Cardiff City striker Emiliano Sala.

The Argentine star joined the Premier League side Cardiff City during the January transfer window but failed to kick a ball as his plane never made it to its destination.

According to the statement made by the Air Accidents Investigation Branch as quoted by Metro news, a body has been sighted in the wreckage of the aircraft underwater.
