Ebony’s father reveals he is taking 40% of his daughter’s contract agreement deal with Bullet

Ebony’s father reveals he is taking 40% of his daughter’s contract agreement deal with Bullet

The father of late dancehall diva, Ebony Reigns, has revealed that his daughter’ contract with her former manager and record label, RuffTown Records, remains the same.

According to Ebony’s father, Nana Poku Kwarteng, who has earned the nickname Starboy Kwarteng, he is the one going to receive all that benefit now.

He said he had reached an agreement with Bullet to release Ebony’s new songs but with the same old agreement that he would take 40% of the monetary benefits.

Starboy Kwarteng added that Bullet, the manager, could still take the 60% of money made from Ebony’s songs.

This is contained in a report sighted by YEN.com.gh on Citinewsroom.com.

“It will be as it has always been. Nothing has changed yet, so for now the arrangement remains the same 60% for him (Bullet) and 40% for me,” Starboy Kwarteng reportedly said with a smile on his face.

This new arrangement by Ebony’s father comes after he reconciled with Bullet after they fought over some disagreements after the singer's death.

Starboy Kwarteng had called Bullet a cheat and a thief, claiming that he cheated Ebony while she was alive and also stole her money after her death.

He also made other allegations about Bullet, accusing him of killing Ebony and abusing her while she was alive.

Bullet, out of frustration and anger, descended on Ebony’s father saying he was full of greed.

According to Bullet, he spent a lot of money he raised on his own and with the help of others on Ebony, while the father made no financial contribution, therefore, he was shocked and disturbed that he could call him names.

Meanwhile, Ebony’s father has proposed that every February 16 be made Ebony Jollof Day as a way to preserve his daughter's memory.
