New regional administrators to begin work in March 2019

The minister of regional reorganization and development, Dan Botwe, has disclosed that the Regional Coordinating Councils (RCCs) of the new regions will begin work in March 2019.

Per a report by 3news.com, he revealed this after a tour of the Damongo, the capital of the Savannah region.

The rationale behind the decision, he explained, is to help those in the regions access basic social services within the shortest possible time.

He expressed hope that the decision will help bring into fruition the vision and aspirations of the chiefs and the people who demanded the creation of the new regions.
