DKB gives Akufo-Addo 1 week to fix dumsor or face demonstration

Ghanaian comedian, DKB, known in real life as Derek Kobina Bonney has given President Akufo-Addo an ultimatum to fix the recent incessant power outages.

According to the comedian, the recent power outage is frustrating and costing him a lot of money.

In a video that he posted on his Instagram page, DKB slammed the president for not being able to curb the recent power situation.

"We thought ECG was horrible but with this PDS, I have already spent GHC 50 on fuel and I'm on my way to buy another fuel," he slammed.

DKB who looked furious and seem to have recorded the video when his lights were off, slammed the new company managing power supply in Ghana.

@fatimaabubakar990 shared her experience: "Asem oooo it bore me kraaaaaa ,am in Kwabenya buh the rate of this dum dum sor sor no hmmm. I rest ma comment."

@_gheneral_ seemed furious about the power outage: "you come back from work, school or wherever and when you want to get some small rest then boom dumsor shows up. Wtf is this."

@mariamketor had this to say: "Abaa is OK i can't see you are very angry ,take it easy Hero."

@_dhat_ewechic agreed with DKB: "Hahahahhahahaha me i don’t belong to any political party so if anyone makes mistake who hammer you . This one kill me scatter @dkbghana ,chop kiss make pressure come down."

@steve_ann commented: "Proper dumsor. Its so annoying because it slows down work."

From the comments, a lot of Ghanaians seem to be supporting DKB, claiming that the power outage situation is annoying.

DKB in the video also made mention of the falling cedi and slammed President Akufo-Addo for not working hard to salvage the cedi.

"Look at the cedi, it is having a blood pressure against the dollar. We don't even know how much the cedi will be against the dollar tomorrow," he said.

DKB in the latter part of the video threatened that if the power outage did not stop, he would embark on a demonstration.
