Appietus and Patapaa challenge each other with hilarious rap

Veteran music producer Appietus and rapper Patapaa have challenged each other as they proved their rap skills in a new video.

In a what seemed like a rather hilarious challenge, Appietus and Patapaa have challenged themselves in a new video.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Instagram page of Instafillagh, Appietus and Patapaa showed their rap skills.

In the first video, Appietus noted that Patapaa wanted to challenge him thus rapped on a beat he was playing in the studio.

In response, Patapaa on watching the rap video by Appietus also recorded himself rapping on a similar beat.

The two videos have gone viral and drawn a lot of attention from social media users who seem intrigued about the rap verses.

Patapaa has been making the news recently after his verse on a song he was featured on went viral.

One of the words in the rap verse by Patapaa 'Skopatomana' has become a household term in Ghana.

After the rap went viral, some Ghanaians have taken to social media to mimic Patapaa and undertake what has become the 'Skopatomana Challenge.'

It was following the viral nature of Patapaa's rap verse that Appietus threw up a challenge to the 'One Corner' hitmaker.

Appietus had earlier rapped in a similar manner on a hit song he produced for Ghanaian music duo '5 Five' titled 'Move Back.'

With the two videos of Appietus and Patapaa gone viral, music lovers are asking that the two collaborate on a song sooner than later.

Meanwhile, the 'Skopatomana Challenge' has gone beyond the boarders of Ghana as people abroad have taken up the challenge.

In a latest video sighted by YEN.com.gh, a white woman was seen rapping Patapaa's 'Skopatomana' verse perfectly.

It is not known where exactly the woman is from but she delivered Patapaa's verse perfectly as if she was the one who wrote the lyrics for the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker.
