5 things to know about Chris Attoh's wife, Bettie Jenifer
On Saturday, May 11, 2019, news broke that the wife of Ghanaian actor Chris Attoh had been shot dead by a gunman in Maryland, USA.
Bettie Jenifer was said to have closed from work and was going to her car when she was shot several times in the parking lot by a slim looking black man.
She was said to have bleed profusely from one of the gunshot that hit her head as she was confirmed dead at the scene.

In October 2018, Chris Attoh tied the knot with Bettie Jenifer shortly after divorcing his first wife, Damilola Adegbite.
Chris and Bettie were still husband and wife when the incident occurred.

1. Bettie Jenifer was an American
Bettie Jenifer was an American who lived in Bowie, Maryland before her sudden demise on Friday, May 10, 2019.
She had lived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and Minneapolis, Minnesota where she had her two University education before moving to Maryland to work.
She lived and worked in other parts of the United States, becoming a successful leader in her field of work as she won awards in relation to her excellent working ability.

2. Bettie Jenifer was 5 years older than her husband Chris Attoh
Bettie Jenifer and Chris Attoh got married during a plush private wedding ceremony in October 2018 at Accra.
Bettie at the time of her marriage was five years older than her husband as she was 44 years old while Chris Attoh was 39 years.
Even though she was 5 years older than her husband, the couple revealed that age is just a number as they looked happy at their wedding ceremony.
3. Bettie Jenifer worked at a temporary staffing agency
Bettie Jenifer before her demise was a Sales Director at Express Employment Professionals (Greenbelt Express), a private firm and a leading staffing provider in the U.S., Canada and South Africa.
The company she worked for provided temporary to permanent placement, direct hire and outsourced placement services for local and global customers.
They fulfill all aspects of commercial and professional staffing within Accounting & Finance, Office & Administration, Engineering, Healthcare, IT, Legal, Life Sciences, and Manufacturing & Logistics.

4. Bettie Jenifer won many awards
Bettie Jenifer was the former Regional Director for U.S based LCA Vision, a provider of photo-refractive keratectomy in the United States under the LasikPlus brand.
While she worked as a regional director, she bagged seven awards for her hard work from 2008-2012.
She won Regional Director of the year (2009) award for her excellent management of projects throughout the year.
Bettie Jenifer also got recognized as Who’s Who honored member of executives, professionals, and entrepreneurs in 2012.
She again bagged the Project management leadership and Profitability Region Award for 2004-2009.
Bettie Jenifer in 2009 won the Leadership Service Award with Project Integrity.
In addition, she won Outstanding Leadership Award (2008- 2010), Outstanding Leadership Award (2007-08) and Centers of Excellence Award (2006-2008).

5. Bettie Jenifer had two degrees
Bettie Jenifer is a learned personality who took her education serious, making her successfully attaining two degrees.
She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) from the Temple University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
She also holds a degree in Business Management from Walden University where she specialized in Business Administration and Management.

The gunman who was said to be a thin-looking black man is still on the run as police search for him.
Investigations have also been launched into the incident by the Greenbelt Police Department.
