The Ghana Black Stars match against South Africa was interrupted when Awal Mohammed run onto the pitch.
The young man who lives in Cape Coast gave security officials some tough time before getting caught.

In a YEN.com.gh publication, Awal Mohammed made one of the stadium security fall-flat on the pitch while trying to catch him.
He was such a fast-runner, speeding-off when two security men and a police officer almost got hold of him.
Awal Mohammed was arrested and arraigned before the court as the case was an offence against the rules in Ghana.
However, the young man who is said to be a nurse by profession was granted bail by the Cape Coast Circuit Court.
Awal Mohammed after being granted the bail got cheered up by some friends and youth in his area.

In photos that have gone viral on social media, the young man is carried behind a truck as he is being paraded on the streets of Cape Coast.
A group of the youth believed to be his friends were seen in the photo cheering him on as he waves at passers-by.
According to unconfirmed reports, Awal Mohammed has become the first person to ever invade a football pitch while a Black Stars match was in play.
In court, Awal was said to have claimed that he had wanted to take a selfie with midfielder Thomas Partey.
Some unconfirmed reports have also revealed that Awal had actually bet with his friends that he will invade the pitch before the match began.
