Mercy Asiedu accused of repeating same dress in two different photos
- Kumawood actress Mercy Asiedu has been accused of wearing the same cloth on separate occasions
- She wore a one-hand top to a show on UTV recently
- There was another photo of her wearing that same top in a movie
- Fans have reacted to the photos saying it was not right for her to have repeated that top after about four years

Popular movie star Mercy Asiedu has come under huge criticisms for repeating her own dress.
In a post seen by YEN.com.gh, Aseidu is seen wearing a one-hand top in two different photos.
In the first photo, she was attending an interview on UTV recently; and in the other one, she was starring in a movie.

According to some who commented on the post, the movie was shot about four years ago which is a long time, therefore, it was bad for her to have repeated it.
Others argued that there was completely nothing wrong with repeating clothes.
Cute, for instance, wondered why celebs are not expected to repeat clothes:
cutelooks_gh: “Does it mean celebs can’t repeat clothes aaaabaa.”
Ako even said though the top appears similar, there are two different clothes:
ako_tumtum: “One is silver in color and the other gold...what is wrong if she repeats clothes?.”

Nana also said it was not good for Mercy to repeat clothes:
nana_akua_yanney: “I said it ooo .”
Akosuah also said that particular movie was shot in 2017, and loves the fact that Mercy has kept the dress till now:
akosuah_darkoa: “Wow 2017 movie...she can really keep stuffs .i love that.”
Cord said the top could be expensive and so Mercy needed to wear it more than once:
cordovogh: “It’s no big deal please, when the dress is expensive you don’t expect someone to wear it once all because of celebrity ♂️.”
Kojo also said the dress looked faded:
kojo_blake: “Has it faded anaa.”

Hawa also appeared surprised to see that the actress had repeated the cloth:
hawabarakat: “Omg But it true .”
Alikins also appeared disappointed in Mercy:
lanalikins: “I even said it,why about 4 years ago dress,why cant u wear something different, and de funny part in de movie was dis dressing.”
Ednaa said she thought she was the only one to have recognised that:
edn_aa: “I thought I was the only one who recognized it.”
Maa also defended Mercy, explaining that repeating clothes means it is for her:
maa_abena_nhyira: “It means the dress is for her... it wasn’t mokwaa.”
Mercy Asiedu had trended in the news recently when she confessed that her marriage is full of fight.
According to her, she and her husband are doing everything possible to make sure their marriage remains successful.
