MTN gives 2-bedroom house to woman who played lead role in 1st MoMo advert 'Mensaaka'

Mobile Telecommunications Network (MTN) Ghana has given away a two-bedroom house to Rita Tetteh, the lady who played the lead role in the first-ever Mobile Money (MoMo) advert in Ghana.

Rita Tetteh was recently awarded at the 2019 Momo agent awards at the Alisa Hotel.

The awards ceremony celebrated individuals who have contributed to the success of the MTN Mobile Money over the years.

Rita's advert got aired on television which eventually aided the service to gain grounds all across the country.

Aside the house she was given, Rita also received a heartwarming citation for being part of the success story of Momo for the past 10 years.

Reports indicate that Rita Tetteh burst into tears of joy after receiving the huge gift. She was filled with much gratitude to MTN for the gesture which she described as a big surprise.

“You have made me overwhelmed with joy with what you have done for me. I first and foremost give thanks to God. I also thank Mr Eli Hini, Majeed, and everybody at MTN. God bless you all because you have always supported me from day one”, Rita Tetteh said.

At the end of the Momo agent awards night, 50 agents and merchants across the country also received amazing goodies ranging from Samsung Television sets, Motorcycles, agent kiosks, trips to Dubai, and a brand new 2019 Hyundai Santa Fe.

Ghanaians have lately been at the receiving end of amazing packages.

Earlier, YEN.com.gh reported that the Member of Parliament for the Klottey-Korley constituency, Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings has donated 15 sewing machines to her constituents after they placed a request before her a while back.

The recipients had told the young and vibrant Member of Parliament that they needed the machines to aid them in their sewing businesses.

According to a report posted on Zanetor's official Facebook handle, the beneficiaries of the kind and timely gesture were from the Osu and Adabraka sectors of the constituency.
