University of Ghana test their own version of VAR

The University Ghana, Legon, has put to test their own version of Video Assistant Referee (VAR) cameras in a match between their male football team and UMAT.
Five cameras plus a drone were used to cover the match.
The experiment is the first time Ghana is using the VAR technology in a football match.

The University of Ghana has raised the bar for media coverage of the game with many advocating the technology is tested in the biggest Ghana Premier League game between Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko schedule for Sunday, January 27.
Images of the experimental technology could be mistaken for a FIFA VAR Team as the students demonstrated high level of intelligence.
This is the first time any West Africa’s country has reported the introduction of VAR.

Ghana’s premier university has set the bar high for other Countries in the West Africa region.
It will be a huge step for the Ghana Football Association to accept for the technology to be experimented in the Ghana Premier League or the Division One League.

However, Obinim who prefers to be called 'Angel Obinim' has bounced back as some interesting pictures of his have popped up on social media.
The new photos sighted by YEN.com.gh have Obinim learning how to accurately shoot an assault rifle during a visit to the Achiase Military base.
