YEN.com.gh has learned that Francis Pwualua, a cleaner and resident of Nayania, a suburb of Navrongo in the Upper East region, has won an amount of GHc126,000.
Information available shows that Pwualua staked a National Lottery Authority (NLA) game with GHc2.
His big win happened on Friday, January 17, 2020, in NLA’s new jackpot game known as Daywa 5/39 which was launched on November 26, 2019.
Per a report of GhanaWeb, Pwauala placed his lotto ticket via the shortcode *446# with lucky numbers 15, 18, 17, 20, 16 at the NLA’s new jackpot game.
His five selected numbers exactly matched that of NLA which were drawn at NLA’s Brennan Hall at 7 pm, making him the first winner of the new game.
The jackpot prize reportedly grew from a minimum of GHc100,000 over seven weeks to GHS 126,000, during which tens of thousands of Ghanaians tried their luck.
In other news, information available to YEN.com.gh shows that Kumasi Asante Kotoko’s captain and goalkeeper, Felix Annan, is married.
Annan reportedly married his girlfriend, Francisca Yeboah, in a private traditional marriage ceremony, which was followed by a wedding on Saturday, January 18, 2020.
Per a report by sports journalist, Saddick Adams, the entire team of Aduana Stars, including players, the technical team and management members were present to lend their support.
This was because Francisca hails from their town and they were present to give the couple GHC2000 as well as traditional clothes.
