In a video on social media, Wendy Shay'smother has stated that the prophecy might be a true one because she had been warned about such a matter before.
Obaapa Kaakyire explained that on her recent visit to Ghana, she received a call from an unknown man who warned her that her daughter was going to be kidnapped within the year.
According to Wendy's mother, the man had explained that the kidnapping of her daughter would be part of moves by some people to destabilize the country prior to the 2020 elections.
Wendy's mother thus pleaded with the government, parents and all Ghanaians to help prevent such nation wreckers from seeing out their plan.
Meanwhile, Wendy Shay herself has responded to Prophet Appiah's prophecy after the video went viral.
According to the Uber Driver hitmaker, God reveals to redeem so it was prudent to go to him in prayers.
Wendy Shay thus asked her followers not to insult the man of God over the prophecy but help her in prayers.
She thus asked for anyone with the number of the 'man of God' to send it to her.
