The mother of Wendy Shay, Obaapa Kaakyire Addo, has reacted to the death prophecy dropped on her daughter by Prophet Akwasi Appiah.

Prophet Appiah, the founder of New Life Kingdom Chapel, disclosed he had seen a revelation that this year (2020) is not a good one for the singer.

In a video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Prophet Appiah said it has been revealed to him that Wendy Shay will be kidnapped and will die through that.

Speaking to his congregation during prophecy time, the pastor indicated that some occultic people have hatched a plan to kidnap and kill her to get powers.

Going further, the prophet stated that Wendy Shay will be confined in a small room after the kidnap and she will die after 21 days.

In a video on social media, Wendy Shay'smother has stated that the prophecy might be a true one because she had been warned about such a matter before.

Obaapa Kaakyire explained that on her recent visit to Ghana, she received a call from an unknown man who warned her that her daughter was going to be kidnapped within the year.

According to Wendy's mother, the man had explained that the kidnapping of her daughter would be part of moves by some people to destabilize the country prior to the 2020 elections.

Wendy's mother thus pleaded with the government, parents and all Ghanaians to help prevent such nation wreckers from seeing out their plan.

Meanwhile, Wendy Shay herself has responded to Prophet Appiah's prophecy after the video went viral.

According to the Uber Driver hitmaker, God reveals to redeem so it was prudent to go to him in prayers.

Wendy Shay thus asked her followers not to insult the man of God over the prophecy but help her in prayers.

She thus asked for anyone with the number of the 'man of God' to send it to her.
