The year 2020 has so far not been the best of years for a lot of people due to the bad news being received day in day out.
The former head of political desk at Media General, Edward Kwabi, was finally laid to rest on Saturday, May 2, 2020, after he passed away on March 2, 2020.
As part of ways and means to lay the well known inky fellow to rest, a private ceremony was held by family and friends to pay their last respect to him.
The solemn private burial ceremony was held at the medical school mortuary and his final remains were later interred at the Osu cemetery in Accra.
The burial was attended by colleagues from TV3, family, and some members of the media fraternity
YEN.com.gh earlier reported that late Mr Kwabi had been unwell since September 2019.
He was a former presidential correspondent during the Mahama administration and Secretary of the Presidential Press Corps.
He was part of the team of journalists who got involved in an accident near Tema while covering President Mahama in August 2015.
In his last return to work, Edward was made a producer at TV3 and was not allowed to do any rigorous reporting duties.
