Meet Ghanaian lady who aspired to be a lawyer but is now an expert in laying tiles

- Doris Deku, a young Ghanaian lady who finished only JHS and could not further her education has become the owner of a tile-making startup

- The young lady lost her parents just when she needed them the most to continue on the path towards becoming a lawyer or an accountant, which were her ambitions

A young and ambitious Ghanaian lady by name Doris Deku is making it in the male-dominated tiling industry after she was unable to continue her education after junior high school.

Doris narrated her breathtaking story in an interview with YEN.com.gh on a special edition of Faces of Ghana in which the businesswoman made a number of eye-popping revelations.

According to Doris, she dreamed to become a lawyer, an accountant or a businesswoman but she lost her parents just when she needed their help to go into high school at the time.

With no one ready to help her at the time and no Free-SHS policy, Doris' ambitions were cut short but she decided never to give up on life and success.

On one occasion, the young lady who has employed a number of men to work under her and serve the many clients, recounts coming across a tile-maker and getting intrigued by how it was all done.

She was told that it was a job meant for men and Doris decided to lay back but after a while, she met another tiler who decided to take her through training for one year, after which she opened her own enterprise and started taking orders.

Meanwhile, a gentleman who has been paralyzed for many years has taken a bold act of faith that has gone viral on social media by deciding to walk after praying to God.

The awe-inspiring video was sighted by YEN.com.gh on the Facebook handle of Abingo SLAY KING as it went viral and got several thousands of reactions online.

In the video, the man who hitherto had spent many years in the wheelchair said that he prayed to Jesus that he would be able to walk again before his birthday on June 23.
