Addi Self, a former member of the Shatta Movement (SM) militants, has claimed he made over $200,000 working under Shatta Wale.
Speaking in a new video sighted by YEN.com.gh, Addi Self says he had other benefits aside from that whopping sum.
He explains that they were attending shows and making money together with what the boss, Shatta Wale, was giving them.
Addi Self said:
It’s uncountable you know. We dey play shows, we dey do movement. I made a lot of money working with Shatta Wale. No be say I for mention the amount but I made over $200,000. We be blood.
Some fans have commented on the video with some doubting that he actually made that sum.
A fan with the username money_maker said Addi Self was only “mentioning a figure”:
money_maker911: “He just dey mention figure.”
Dada called it “concert”:
Success wrote in the Akan language that Addi Self was speaking that way to gain favour from Shatta Wale:
success_barrison: “Bako sro.”
Meanwhile, Addi Self together with his former team members have all been sacked by Shatta Wale. The SM militants were made up of Addi Self, Captan, Joint 77, and Natty Lee.
Shatta Wale sacked them after accusing them of badmouthing him to friends in the USA.
Among the accusations, Shatta Wale said the militants told friends that he was cheating them and never paid them when they attended shows together.
Shatta Wale got angry and said he has done so many things for them that their family members have not done before.
In another recent publication by YEN.com.gh, Shatta Wale gave the only condition under which he would accept the militants back.
Addi Self was recently in the news claiming that he brought Shatta Wale women when they were working together.
