Times are tough. With everything going on in the world, the people who have had to struggle to get by have fallen even deeper into the cracks of poverty. Many poor South Africans have no idea where their next meal is coming from.

Two boys, 11 and 7 years old, are no different. Wearing tattered clothes with old rucksacks thrown across their small shoulders, the two caught the eye of popular Facebook good Samaritan BI Phakathi, who decided to add a little sunshine to their day.

In the video post, the two boys explain to BI that they collect old cans around their township, with which they make around R7 a day. The money is then used to buy food for their family at home, who, according to them, are unemployed.

Clearly touched by the sight of two young children working to make ends meet, BI handed the boys over R800 in cash, which he instructed them to keep safe as they made their way home.

@Naomi Ayuba said:

"I always watch your videos of kindness and generosity towards God's children. This encourages me to do same with whatever little I have. You're an angel sent by God to do this for humanity. Love from Nigeria. God bless you brother."
