A photo of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Regional Secretary for the Western Region, Charles Bissue has surfaced after an alleged fight with Member of Parliament for Tarkwa-Nsuem, George Mireku Duker.
The photo shows one eye of Bissue blood-shot and the other swollen together with his face.
In a news report filed by Ghanaweb, it is not confirmed if the damage to Bissue’s eye was caused by the MP himself or his security men.

On Tuesday, September 22, 2020, news broke that Charles Bissue had allegedly inflicted multiple wounds on the hand of the Tarkwa-Nsuem MP.
JoyNews sources indicate that, the NPP Regional executives were meeting with all the party’s Parliamentary Candidates in the region at Kingston hotel in Takoradi when the incident happened.
Eyewitnesses say at the event there was a misunderstanding between the MP and the regional party executive, but it was reported that Bissue in the raging confusion grabbed the MP’s hand and gave him multiple bites.
It is rumored that the MP, and Bissue have had bad blood between them for sometime because Bissue supports an independent candidate against him.
Meanwhile, Bissue had refused to talk to journalists about the fight but the MP has confirmed the incident.
According to him, he had visited the hospital for treatment.

In other news, minority leader in Parliament, Haruna Iddrisu has revealed out of the 55 seats the National Democratic Congress (NDC) lost in 2016, the party has already won 47.
According to him, the opposition NDC has identified all the loops that made them loose those seats and have worked towards it.
He made this known in an interview on TV3's morning show, the New Day on Wednesday, September 16, 2020.
