I will soon expose a gay official at the presidency - Foh Amoaning

- Foh Amoaning says he will expose a gay official at the presidency

- The self-acclaimed homophobic alleges that the official is pushing pro-gay choices

- Ghana has no definitive law against homosexuality

Foh Amoaning, a self-acclaimed lawyer noted for homophobic statements against Ghana’s LGBTQ+ community has set a new target - exposing an official at the Presidency he believes is gay.

Speaking on UTV, the controversial anti-gay campaigner alleged that the said official is currently pushing the agenda of the gay and lesbian community in Ghana and thus will work hard to expose the official.

Six Members of Parliament have served notice to sponsor a bi-partisan Private Members Bill to proscribe and criminalize the advocacy and practice of homosexuality.

They believe the Bill would seek to further strengthen Ghana’s legal jurisprudence and existing legislation on unnatural carnal knowledge to reflect the current state of affairs.

“It is our belief that all members of this House would support this Bill when it comes before the House,” Mr Samuel Nartey George, the Member of Parliament (MP) for Ningo Prampram, leader of the six MPs proposing the Bill, said in a statement on the floor of the House.
