Another body has been retrieved from the Apam waters Thursday morning, March 11, 2021.
The 16-year-old boy identified as Emmanuel Ansah was found lying along the seashore when fisherfolks chanced on his corpse.
This increases the number of dead bodies to 13 while two are currently receiving treatment at St. Luke’ hospital Apam.

Some more bodies are yet to be retrieved or washed ashore after they drowned on Sunday, March 7, 2021.
Meanwhile, 12 teenagers whose bodies were retrieved after they drowned in the sea at Apam will be buried next week.
The Gomoa West Security Council has disclosed that a burial service will be held next week Tuesday, March 16, 2021.
According to a report filed by Citi News, the bodies will be given to the individual families to bury instead of having a mass burial.
The council said the event which was originally slated for today, March 11, has been postponed to pave way for some rites to be performed by the community.
The Apam District Police Commander, Deputy Superintendent of Police, Moses Osakonor, confirming the incident, said it happened around 5 pm last Sunday.
According to a police report, while the children were swimming, a heavy tide rose and they could not control themselves so they were taken away by the sea.
The timely intervention of a Good Samaritan saved the lives of two of them as they were rescued and sent to the St. Luke Hospital to be attended to.
In other news, Philip Caezar Kumah, a deputy director of the Youth Employment Agency (YEA), has reportedly beaten his girlfriend to death in Akatsi North of the Volta Region.
Confirming the development to Accra-based Starr FM, the Volta Regional Police PRO, Sgt Prince Dogbatse said the deceased was advised to file a report about her abuse prior to her demise, but she failed to do so.
Prince Dogbatse, said the deceased, Elizabeth Yesutor, informed her friends about the abusive nature of Kumah.
