In an extensive video on her escapades, which has gone viral, Abena lamented the pittance that organizers of that huge nightly date show intended to donate to the Psychiatric Hospital. According to her, just one of their sponsors could have footed the bill of any befitting donation.

“There is an episode on Date Rush that we did. It’s a celebrity edition and we are supposed to do a donation afterwards to look like Date Rush is giving back to the community. They say they are going to donate 1000 cedis to a whole psychiatric hospital. Forget about 1000 cedis. You have made this show so huge, how can you donate 1000 cedis!”
