The debate on whether a politician did his national service or not has caught up with NDC's own Samuel Okudjeto Ablakwa.

The member of parliament for North Tongu has finally called the bluff of his detractors by doing the unusual - posting his national service certificate online!

The member or parliament seemed to have been the subject of controversy after grilling the minister of gender, Otiko Djaba for not doing her national service - a development which brought the floor of parliament on a standstill.

But now we know, that after all, the honourable member did do his national service.
