This shocking development was clearly witnessed when two consenting adults – a 28 and 18 year old man – got attacked red handed while they were allegedly making love in a rented hotel somewhere in Accra.

A video which went online attracted rage and fiery comments from Ghanaians who claimed that these men deserved the harsh treatment they were meted by workers of the hotel.

In the video, these young men were verbally and physically abused by hotel attendants who questioned why they were attracted to men and not women – an answer they insinuated was due to their initiation into blood money (sakawa).

So far, these men have been whisked off by the police for questioning as a court hearing is likely to take place in that regard.
