Nigerian music star and DMW label boss David Adeleke Davido appeared to have dropped interest in assisting a viral street hawker who recently made headlines.

The reason for Davido's action is not far from reports claiming the hawker who poses as a girl is a boy named Sultan.

Legit.ng recalls reporting that skit maker Brain Jotter also expressed displeasure at the hawker's action as he confirmed he was a man.

In a tweet via his X account, Davido, who had called on his uncle, Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun state, to assist the hawker, has now told him to abort the mission.

He wrote:

"Excellency dem job us !! Dem say nah man ABORT MISSION."

Street hawker refuses money

YEN.com.gh previously reported a video of how a street hawker reacted after a magician bought from her has caused a stir online.

The young man surprisingly transformed a piece of paper into a GH¢5 note and attempted to give it to her as payment, but she refused.

Netizens who saw the video said the man had adopted a smart way of buying things without paying for them.
