Sarkodie Kneels Before Obrafour at Rapperholic Concert, Peeps React to Touching Video

Popular Ghanaian artist Sarkodie held his 2025 Rapperholic concert in Kumasi, Ashanti Region, on Saturday, September 27, 2025.

Several artists, including veteran Ghanaian rapper Obrafour, joined Sarkodie to perform on stage to make the concert a success.

In a video on X, the two musicians were on stage singing Obrafour's 'odo' when Sarkodie knelt to show his deep appreciation and respect to the veteran rapper.

He did not stand up but rather hugged Obrafour while still kneeling. Obrafour helped Sarkodie to rise to his feet and hugged him again.

When he got up, Sarkodie said:

"Thank you, Godfather."

The crowd cheered while all these were happening.

Sarkodie and Obrafour have collaborated on several songs, including "Saa Okodie No," "Always on My Mind," "Elijah," and "Hope (Brighter Day)."

This is not the first time Sarkodie has knelt before Obrafour. In 2021, during the Rapperholic concert, King Sark went down on both knees as a way to honour Obrafour when he made a surprise appearance at the show.

Sarkodie bows to Daddy Lumba

In an earlier publication, YEN.com.gh reported that Ghanaian musician Michael Owusu Addo, popularly called Sarkodie, showed that even though he is a singer, he admires Daddy Lumba.

The award-winning musician bowed to the high-life legend when he was invited on stage to perform at Daddy Lumba's Valentine's Day concert in 2025.
