Ghanaian rapper Kwaku DMC, a prominent member of the Asakaa music collective, reportedly walked away from a serious road accident on Saturday, October 24, 2026, hours before he was due to perform at Sarkodie's Rapperholic concert at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.

According to media personality, actress and influencer Sandy Ken, who is a close associate of Kwaku DMC, a tyre burst around Linda D'or on the Accra-Kumasi road caused the vehicle to somersault multiple times before coming to rest in a bush.

The rapper was reportedly travelling from Accra to Kumasi for the 2026 Rapperholic concert after performing at a music event in Accra before the unfortunate incident happened.

The clip, which carries The Solid Team's on-screen watermark, quickly spread across social media platforms, drawing widespread concern from fans and followers of the Asakaa movement.
