Things were going according to plan for the perfect proposal: perfect scenery, a ring in place, a happy lady and a hopeful gentleman who was ready for marriage.

There was also a phone camera ready to record the moment for posterity, probably to show generations after them how it all went.

Then came the highly awaited moment where the gentleman goes on his knees with his heart and ring in his hands to ask for the beauty's hand in marriage.

Just before she could give her answer, a curious goat who was probably wondering what camera was stuck his face in the camera spoilt the whole video.

"Oh nooo," the man was heard saying when he rushed to pick up the phone, which had since fallen down after the goat incident.

Woman nearly dies during proposal

In another story, Jessica Hawayu's lover, Johannah Charo and her family, had planned to surprise her, but the wedding proposal nearly turned tragic.

Jesicca swallowed the ring, which was buried in her plate of pilau, a moment before Charo proposed.

According to Nation, the lady later vomited the ring, collapsed, was rushed to hospital, and later accepted as Charo's partner.

Earlier on, they were convinced the lady would see the ring but the father was against the idea.
