Former Manchester United Star Elanga Tries to Speak Swahili: “U Hali Gani?”

Former Manchester United forward Anthony Elanga was spotted trying to speak Swahili in a viral video.
Elanga spent nine years at Manchester United but made his senior debut in 2023. He was part of Erik ten Hag's side that won the Carabao Cup in 2023.
The winger was born in Sweden to Cameroonian parents. His father, Joseph Elanga, was a defender who represented the Indomitable Lions at the 1998 World Cup.
The younger Elanga joined Manchester United in 2014 at the age of 12 after brief spells with local clubs IF Elfsborg and Hattersley.
Elanga tries to speak Swahili
In the video, Elanga attempts to speak Swahili with an unidentified person. He says,
"Jambo, u hali gani? (Hi, how are you doing?)"
Elanga, who is in the car, was at the time listening to Diamond Platnumz's hit Komosava.
Elanga's stats at Nottingham Forest
The 22-year-old left Manchester United at the end of the 2023 season and moved to Nottingham Forest. He helped them avoid relegation by a whisker by chipping in with five goals and nine assists.
Forest has made an unbeaten start to this season, with Elanga providing one assist so far. They play Fulham this weekend.
