Many people know Nana Ama McBrown as a talented actress but not as a professional footballer.

Aside from being a screen goddess and music writer, Nana Ama McBrown has disclosed that football was her first job.
She made this revelation when she addressed some students at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Nana Ama stated that she was part of Kotoko Ladies football team for five years.
However, she had to quit football because she was disappointed after some time.

Her disappointment, she said, came when she could not make enough money from football as she had anticipated.
Along the way, an opportunity came for her to act a role in a movie which she did diligently, and since then she has not looked back on her acting career, she disclosed.
“Most people do not know that I was a professional footballer.”
“I was a player for Kotoko Ladies for 5 years but I didn’t get enough money like I expected,” she said.
The ‘Kumasi Yonkuo’ movie star admitted that switching to acting has been the best choice she made because she is currently making more fortunes from it.
The beautiful actress, born Felicia Ama Agyeman, said that she was determined to succeed at her acting career.

This is because she could not make significant progress in formal education.
“I could not climb high the academic ladder due to some reasons.”
“So when the acting opportunity came I grabbed it and decided to work hard at making it a career,” she explained.
She stated also that some of the coaches she worked with are still around and they could testify to her claims, stated a mynewsgh report.
Nana Ama McBrown has made an enviable name for herself in the Ghana Movie Industry.
She is a multiple award-winning actress and starred in over a hundred movies.
She is also an entrepreneur and brand ambassador for many brands including Tasty Tom tomato paste, Hi-Sense electronics, and Calorad, just to mention a few.
