A 26-year-old Ghanaian man who goes by the name of Madina Broni, a.k.a. Slay Queen, has revealed that he wants to become Ghana's version of the controversial Nigerian cross dresser, Bobrisky.

According to sources close to him, the 26-year-old man who's chosen to refer to himself only as Madina Broni, hopes to become to Ghana what Bobrisky is now to Nigeria; who is the most well-known crossdresser in the country.

A friend close to Madina Broni told YEN.com.gh that the 26-year-old man's family are aware of his [at least in Ghana] controversial way of life and says that they're very supportive.

Following President Nana Akufo-Addo's comments during an interview with Al-Jazeera news in the latter part of last year 2017, more and more calls for legalization - or at least decriminalization - have been heard from Ghana's LGBT community.
