In Ghana, it is becoming a common norm a lot of young men do not want to date young single mothers let alone for them to pick them home as wives.

The practice is on the rise to the point that many young ladies who gave birth out of wedlock are said to be feeling the ‘heat’.

Some single mothers argue that some men virtually shy away from them the moment they discover they are single mothers.

This week, some followers and readers of YEN.com.gh have locked horns over the topic, “Why are so many men scared to date single mothers”.

Whiles some readers especially men, argue that single mothers are very humble and submissive in marriage, others also insisted that they do not want to see eye-to-eye with single mothers when choosing marriage partners.

Many young men who kicked against marrying single mothers explained that, they do not want to be overburdened in their young marriage by taking care of another man’s child.
