When Nigerian photographer Mofe Bamuyiwa set out to photograph five year old Jare of the J3 sisters, he could not for the life of him imagine the internet would go as crazy as it did. Dubbed the most beautiful girl in the world, Jare is the youngest of her sisters named Joba and Jomiloju Ijalana. When the photo of young Jare went viral, the world went berserk. Her simple child features accentuated with the make-up artistry of Dammy of Iposh Looks made her portrait a favorite among internet users. As Jare sat there looking straight into the camera, it is easy to see why she captured so many hearts.
Her simple Afro is a statement in this world of trends. She has worn her hair like a crown and the simple look on her baby face adds to the zest of a wonderful portrait photograph. Many black people can relate to this photograph because the photographer embraced all the natural aspects of the black woman’s facial features and represented it innocently in the portrait of the young beautiful Nigerian girl.

Mofe Bamuyiwa the photographer is also a winner in this sudden attention to the lovely five year old Jare Ijalana. With his BMB studio, Mofe describes his business as a weddings and events management photographer. He also describes himself as an artist.
Looking at social media, we see Mofe get criticized and applauded. As is with the world of today a lot of people come with a multitude of opinions about all kinds of things. Mofe definitely did not escape the wrath of internet trolls.

We all hope that being thrust into the global spotlight only affects this beautiful girl and her sisters in a positive light.
As for young Jare, we all truly hope she can stay within the modelling industry and hopefully she can do yet another shoot to portray her older version as Mofe had hoped. Her delicate feminine features that brought a masterpiece should definitely be portrayed later on and quoting Mofe “Posing them as adults was my trick to create it a timeless portrait! Jare, when you clock 21 remember to do same pose and style.”

I want the photo to speak to her when she has reached her adulthood.” With such a vision, it is easy to see that this is a passionate photographer who managed to take the young girl and her sisters and turn his artful vision into a stunning reality.
