Throwback photo of Sarkodie and Delay draws interesting comments from Ghanaians
YEN.com.gh has sighted a throwback photo of controversial television personality, Delay and rapper, Sarkodie, which has fans talking on social media.
Compared to their looks now, the two were almost unrecognisable in the photo and some of their fans would had to take a second and probably third look at it before making them out.
Sarkodie looked very lanky and ‘ordinary’ with huge eyeglasses.

Delay, on the other hand, looked ‘ordinary’ too with a common hairstyle and dress, unlike the sophisticated lifestyle and appearance she has now.
The photo seems to have inspired many people on social media, and many of them were of the conviction that God has been good to the two celebrities.
Some of the fans were also of the view that in life, one has to wait for time to make money in order to be ‘big’ in the future as manifested in the lives of Sarkodie and Delay.

For instance, an Instagram user, Trapmoney, said he could not recognize Sarkodie at first glance saying that he looked like NAM 1:
trapmoneyftee: “I thought it was NAM 1 oo.”
Truelove also said in the Akan language that “money truly talks”:
iam_diggs_truelove: “Sika kasa ampa.”
Sammy could also not recognize Delay, and asked in the Akan language to be told who she was:
sammy_highcourt: “sister nu Obaa ben nono?.”
Charry then responded that it was Delay, and from her response, it could be said that she was not very sure of herself:
charrybens: “@sammy_highcourt I think is delay.’

Feeling inspired by the photo and the current statuses of the two celebrities, Efia prayed to God that she was waiting for her turn:
efia_buabemaa: “Dear God am patiently waiting for my turn.”
Nana, also feeling inspired, said there was hope for him too.
nanaantwieric: “Anidasoɔ wɔ hɔ ma me��.”
Beebi plainly wrote that truly, time changes:
beebi2: “Time changes ampa .”

There were many other comments for that photo showing how fans were inspired and proud of Delay and Sarkodie.
Meanwhile, Sarkodie has been in the news recently following his own revelation that he was abused as a child while growing up.
He also revealed that he had to join a queue in wanting to date his wife Tracy because at that time, she was already seeing someone.
In other news, Nana Appiah Mensah, CEO of Menzgold Company Limited, has allegedly been declared wanted by INTERPOL for issues surrounding his operation of the company.
He has been charged with “defrauding by pretense”.
