Kwesi Arthur blasted for failing to make it to America for Afrobeats To The World concert
- Kwesi Arthur has announced that he cannot be in America for Saturday's Afrobeats To The World concert
- The rapper said his failure to attend was due to reasons beyond him
- His fans in America have, however, slammed him over the decision
Rapper Kwesi Arthur has come under attack on social media following his last-minute withdrawal from a scheduled concert in the United States of America.
Kwesi Arthur was slated to feature at the Afrobeats To The World concert at the PlayStation Theatre in New York on Saturday, April 6, 2019, which has other Ghanaian artistes like Kuami Eugene and Medikal.
But in a video posted on Instagram on Friday, April 5, the Grind Day rapper has announced that he cannot attend the concert as announced.

According to Kwesi Arthur, he could not make it to New York due to circumstances beyond his control.
He, however, urged the fans in America to have fun at the concert and support other artistes with a promise to make it up to them later.
"Due to issues beyond our control, I am unable to perform at Afrobeats To The World, as it was great platform to push African music further!! So sorry!
"Please, guys still go out there and support the movement, they are doing great things! Me and my team are working extremely to get me out there as soon as possible.
"We have something big planned for the fans in NEW YORK!!!," he captioned the video.

Kwesi Arthur's post has angered fans on social media. Many of them have questioned why Kwesi Arthur had his image used for promotion of the concert when he was not sure he could attend. Others are also wondering why he would wait until the last-minute to make that announcement.
