Michael Essien jams to Shatta Wale's My Level in latest video

Former Ghanaian international has shown massive love to dancehall genius Shatta Wale.

Michael Essien has warmed the hearts of Shatta Wale’s fans by jamming to the My Level song.

YEN.com.gh has sighted a video of the former Chelsea midfielder.

In the video, an excited Essien took delivery of brand new football boots.

However, the song playing in the background was Shatta Wale’s My Level.

The My Level song was released late in 2018 by the controversial dancehall artiste and it has received massive airplay.

The song has been nominated as one of the nominated songs at this year’s Vodafone Ghana Music Awards slated to come off Saturday, May 18, 2019.

YEN.com.gh previously reported a story about how Essien had taken up a player/coach role at Sabail FC in Azerbaijan.

Essien, who left Indonesian top-flight side Persib Bandung in 2018, inked a 15 month deal with the club until May 2020.

He was also in the news again when he announced that he will be playing for the World XI against England XI.

The said match will come off on June 16, 2019.
