It is understandable if you do not know how to react to this news. But boy, Ghanaian netizens are nursing stomach pains from the hard laugh this news brought them.

The leader and founder of the International God's Way Church (IGWC) has been picked on again because of his work. This time, not for an extreme act of Christianity, but for quoting the wrong Bible verse. Some have qualified him a liar for this costly mistake.

In the video, the man of God is lashing out at some of his Junior pastors for betraying him. And in the heat of the moment, the controversial pastor sought to give reasons for not honoring his end of bargain to Kingsley Baah aka One Blow - his former aid. It was at this juncture that Obinim quoted Exodus chapter 2 verse 22 to 23 which, according to his claims, “God said I forgot..." However, a man who was following his sermon closely picked this up and decided to counter check with the Bible only to be surprised at how wrong the pastor was.

In the New International Version (NIV) Bible, Exodus 2:22-23 stipulates:

22 Zipporah gave birth to a son, and Moses named him Gershom,[a]saying, “I have become a foreigner in a foreign land."

The only way to prove whether this was a genuine mistake is through Obinim's word, and people's ability to take his word for the truth. However, if it was a mistake, then it was a costly mistake, as Ghanians across different social media ignited a full blown 'mock expedition,' some funny, some harsh, but each of it was downplayed the man of God's mission.
