Countryman Songo threatens that Kwesi Appiah will be fired if he doesn't sit up

Popular sports presenter Countryman Songo known in real life as Patrick Osei Agyemang has criticized Black Stars coach Kwesi Appiah over the team's performance.

Countryman Songo has descended heavily on Coach Kwesi Appiah over the seeming poor performance of Black stars at the AFCON tournament.

According to the controversial television host, the coach has been poor in making the team win matches at the tournament.

In a video that was sighted by YEN.com.gh, Countryman Songo expressed disappointment at Coach Kwesi Appiah and the Black Stars team.

"Kwesi Appiah what are you teaching the boys? Their performance against Benin and Cameroon shows that your tactics are poor," he jabbed.

"The tax payers money have been used to pay you all so you must upgrade the poor performance of the team," he added.

Countryman Songo who seemed furious claimed that Coach Kwesi Appiah is not proving that he is brilliant enough.

He noted that the team had enough pre-tournament training in Dubai so he is baffled about their poor performance.

The host of Fire for Fire went on to threaten that if Coach Kwesi Appiah fails at the tournament, he will be sacked.

"If you continue like this and fail at making the team perform well at the AFCON, we will sack you," he ranted.

"Ghana must win the trophy. 37 years of no trophy is disheartening so if we don't win, you will go," referring to the coach.

His comments followed a seeming poor performance by the Black Stars against Benin and Cameroon.

The stars drew 2-2 in their opening game with Benin as they drew 0-0 again with defending champions Cameroon.

Many Ghanaians have expressed their disappointment at the team as they were anticipated to perform well at the tournament.
