Adrian's penalty save in UEFA Super Cup final for Liverpool against Chelsea's Tammy Abraham saw football fans take to the social media to air their reactions.
For most fans the referee should have called for a retake after goalkeeper moved off his line before the spot-kick was taken.
Liverpool saw off Premier League rivals Chelsea in a shootout to claim the European trophy for the fourth time in their history after the match ended 2-2 in Istanbul.

Adrian, who was making his first start for Liverpool saved the decisive spot-kick from Tammy Abraham, to seal victory for Jurgen Klopp tutored-side.
"Adrian was miles off his line, should’ve been retaken. UEFApool at it again," tweeted one Chelsea supporter while another stressed: "Adrian's legs were off the line though. I thought this was a rule?!"
Another noted: "Surely that has to be taken again because of how far off the line Adrian was?"
"Adrian was off the line when Tammy Abraham took his penalty," stressed another fan. "Goalkeepers are supposed to have at least one foot on the line. Should have been retaken?"
A fifth fan summed up: "So, genuinely what is the point of VAR?!. Adrian clearly has both feet off the line when Abraham strikes the ball, but it’s not been retaken. Utterly ridiculous."
The result leaves new Chelsea boss Frank Lampard replacing Sarri at Stamford Bridge after Sunday's 4-0 bashing at Old Trafford.
