Akwaboah tips Sarkodie to win Artiste of the Year at 2020 VGMAs

-Award-winning Ghanaian singer Akwaboah is rooting for his former boss Sarkodie to win the 'Artiste of the Year' at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs)

Multi-talented singer, Akwaboah, has tipped rapper Sarkodie to the prestigious 'Artiste of the Year' award at this year's Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMAs).

Akwaboah is optimistic that Sarkodie will top the 'Artiste of the Year' category and proceed to will the award.

In a tweet sighted by YEN.com.gh, Akwaboah said "‘But on the Real..Vgma Artiste of the year 2019 y3 SARKODIE.. wonte ase3 aa Da ne nkyene nsuo.. Mede wo b3y3 anwamoo ..tenkew!!."

Sarkodie has had a good year -under the year under review- with an EP and an album as well as performances on all major shows in Ghana.

Perhaps this is why his former signee Akwaboah is so bent on him winning the overall award.

YEN.com.gh earlier reported that Ghanaian Dancehall King, Shatta Wale had been nominated for the 2020 Soundcity MVP Awards Festival and he is super excited.

The 'Melissa' hitmaker was nominated in two major categories in this year's edition of the awards event.
